This painting is an interpretation of cityscapes, public parks and urban life. Here we see a juxtaposition of an aerial, landscape, garden and subterranean views. There is a little spark of playfulness, against a dramatic color scheme.
About Lory MacDonald
Lory has explored many approaches to art making throughout her lifetime of painting and creating crafts. Recently, she has combined her skills and experience as a painter and craft artist to develop an exciting new series of paintings. The collection consists of 300 images produced from a set of drawings depicting imaginary worlds, trees, landscapes, flora, fauna, and creatures. The completed original pieces in the collection range in size from 12”x16” to 48”x60”. THE PROCESS These paintings draw upon skills that include: painting, sewing, jewelry making, decorating, paper mache sculpting, doll making, and hand painting glassware.
