Waterdreams has a special place in my heart. It was the first large painting that sold in the Water Collection. A lovely lady who worked tirelessly for a children’s ballet company had just moved into a new ‘blank’ condo and was looking for a spectacular art piece that would set the tone for her home décor. She chose this piece. Swimming in fresh water waves in the Great Lakes of Ontario, Canada inspired this painting.

Lory has explored many approaches to art making throughout her lifetime of painting and creating crafts. Recently, she has combined her skills and experience as a painter and craft artist to develop an exciting new series of paintings. The collection consists of 300 images produced from a set of drawings depicting imaginary worlds, trees, landscapes, flora, fauna, and creatures. The completed original pieces in the collection range in size from 12”x16” to 48”x60”. THE PROCESS These paintings draw upon skills that include: painting, sewing, jewelry making, decorating, paper mache sculpting, doll making, and hand painting glassware.
